Lab Created "Quail" entering the Australian & NZ Food Market
Lab meat to be allowed in to the market
Article 1
I will be putting up information over the weekend about the first Lab Meat being allowed in to the Australian market. I’m working on a FSANZ submission (due Monday 6pm) to raise concerns about the approval of Lab Grown Quail in to the Australian and New Zealand food market. Please consider putting a submission in. FSANZ and Vow Food information
I covered some information about Vow Foods in this short interview:
Food Standards Australia New Zealand has determined that Lab Created Quail is safe to enter the Australian and New Zealand food market and they are progressing to change the food code. The public can make a submission (Closing Monday 5th February 6pm) as to whether they think the FSANZ Risk Assessment is up to standard. Lab created Quail is being sold as a niche market, but once they’re allowed to go through it opens the doors for the market to be flooded. Submission Details here
Context
For those new to this: our food systems are being transformed under United Nations Sdg 2- Zero Hunger and Sdg 13- Climate Action. It’s a Net Zero food transformation.
The big guys behind this are the world’s largest chemical companies with lots and lots of tech companies assisting.
In 2020 the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation signed a partnership with CropLife to transform our food systems- with biotech.
CropLife is the front for the world’s largest Chemicals, it includes Bayer Monsanto, BASF, Syngenta etc. Here are the full list. https://www.croplife.org.au/about/our-members/
As an aside Bayer Monsanto is getting its pants sued off currently due to Round Up causing enormous amounts of cancer. CropLife is currently angling to get Legislation passed in the USA where chemical companies can not be sued.
Okay! Nothing concerning here. We can trust them to be in control of our food systems, right??!!
For a wider understanding of Lab Created Foods have a watch of this video (13:30 mins in talks about the cell line)

Vow Foods
Vow Foods is the company behind the Lab Created Quail. I am currently going through their application to FSANZ. I want to share different concerns that jump out at me (I will do a number of articles over the weekend as I get my head around different things), in the hope that others can jump off my information and put in submissions and share information. Vow's Application to FSANZ
Vow of course uses Climate Change and Feeding the World as the justification for “Lab grown immortalised cells that are being passed as meat”.
It’s all safe we are assured. However Vow wants to keep all of this secret from the public:
The cells are taken from quail embryo connective tissue
This is the manufacturing process, in our dystopian world Vow Foods says the “Quail” is not GMO.
Here is the process undertaken:
Over the next few days I’m going to get clear on the different terms used above. Spontaneous immortalisation refers to putting the cells in to a precancerous state where the natural inhibitor of cell reproduction is suppressed.
Above article can be found here Immortalised Cell Line
Not surprisingly a literature search did not find anything that detailed allergic reactions to lab created quail. Not surprisingly, as lab meat has just been allowed in Singapore and hasn’t been released anywhere else. There are no long term studies to say what the effect on the human body will be.
I’ll leave it here for this article and I’ll be back over the weekend. Here are some interview excerpts from founder of Vow George Peppou, where he says candidly that normal people will be eating lab meat, the wealthy will be able to buy from Ethical Farms.

This is incredibly disturbing. Obviously, there has been NO human testing of this product. It raises many questions:
1. Is it safe?
2. Will naturally occurring genetic mutations keep it safe?
3. I understand it is using genetically modified bacteria in the reproduction of cell lines. Are they safe?
4. The drive for this is coming from the notion current food production is unsustainable. This is built on the ESG nonsense. It is all built on a series of fallacies.
5. This process requires the heavy use of technology and intricate controls around heating and possible infection. If this process is approved, how can these essential standards be guaranteed.
6. How can this go ahead without human testing?
7. The flavour in naturally grown meat comes from the food and environment in which animals interact. This will be completely absent from lab grown meat.
8. i have many more questions as I look into this. This appears to be madness.
9. The waste from these processes are incredibly toxic. Is this being factored into the cost / benefit analyses?
Chemical megacompanies, confidentiality/non-disclosure of "commercial information", no long-term safety data, United Nations...somehow rings a bell...what could possibly go wrong? Thanks for digging in the dirt, Kate.
