I hate this country more everyday. Our political parties have sold us out and the majority of Australians are literally sleep walking into a hellish future. Because they don't reasearch and believe the tripe legacy media and government spew out. I'm pretty much done. The Digital ID will be the nail in the coffin. God wins

It's time to leave this country before it's too late, it's what I'm doing, the government is doing everything they can to make our lives hell, they want us in big debt so they can control us more and more, the digital ID is such an invasion of privacy

I'm looking at doing the same. I have no roots or family here, came here in 1986. Had some difficult times the last 20 or so years, should have left before now. This is the final straw on my camel's back.

Dispossession is nine-tenths of the law … and ten-tenths of the plan.

In a nutshell — and what a nutty shell it is — ubiquitous monitoring of CO2 production is the pretext for Global Total-Surveillance (GTS). GTS is necessary to secure your “wellbeing” and the wellbeing of the planet. If the destruction of your physical, financial and emotional health are what it takes to achieve your “wellbeing”, so be it. After all, you may (and should) find, not just consolation, but ideally, a certain joy and sense of fulfillment in knowing that you did you part. Capiche?

“...announcing they will save Australians money by forcing people to do costly upgrades on their homes.” — 1) Cognitive dissonance much? 2) Gaslighting at its finest!

I suspect that the amount of gaslight produced by the Psycho-Technocracy (PT) ALONE could, if harnessed, power the net-zero pipedream. How on earth did we as a species, manage since time immemorial, to survive and thrive before this PT offered their boundless beneficence and wisdom?

This Global Climate Stasi insanity is wearing very thin. I suspect that the average Karen will soon lose their self-righteous fervour when it dawns on them that THEY'RE being Karened. The growing and overwhelming evidence of the absolute disaster/farce that is currently the EV industry is undeniable.

I would love to see you as a guest on Cafe Locked Out. As you say, "public awareness is key right now." Your research and focus is impeccable and you're right up there with Rosa Koire who warned us about Agenda 21.

Outstanding article Kate! This is the Gold standard to aspire to!

It's worth noting that many lenders in Australia already offer "green home loans" that have lower rates and/or better terms (fees etc) for homes that meet the arbitrary criteria for a "sustainable/zero emissions" home. Here are just a few examples:

https://www.commbank.com.au/articles/newsroom/2022/04/CBA-Green-Home-Offer.html

https://www.westpac.com.au/personal-banking/home-loans/sustainable-upgrades-home-loan/

https://www.gatewaybank.com.au/home-buying/green-home-loans/green-home-loan/

https://www.racq.com.au/home/home-loans/green-loan

https://www.firstmac.com.au/products/green-home-loan

It should be obvious to everyone that what starts as an "incentive" will become a MANDATE which means that properties that do not meet said arbitrary criteria for a "sustainable/zero emissions" home will either have to cop a higher interest rate or won't be able to be financed altogether.

This will immediately also impact the values of such homes that are not even on the market and some lenders may even move to recall existing loans in order to "force behaviour" as the Finkmeister from BlackRock likes to call it.

gradually over several generations they've also priced people out of home ownership. Theoretical scenario: Your grandparents, possibly migrants, bought a large house on one salary after starting a small business and working hard. Your parents struggled but still bought a 3 bed cottage in a capital city nice area. Your generation would not be able to buy a house near them but would have to move regional or far out. Your children's generation will struggle to buy a unit. Your grandchildren will struggle to rent a unit. Your great grandchildren might live in a van and rent that van.

We are getting to the point where the average Australian has nothing left to lose. The despair is palpable and pervading every aspect of society.

But very few people are actually doing anything. To push back. To wake the sleepers. To spread the word. We could win this with one massive push-back.

But no.

Sit tight.

The Substack that makes you go “yikes!”

Hopefully the house/home-owner dynamic will cause these plans to be reconsidered or, best of all, fail. Government encroachment on our lives is out of control.

If it does go ahead, no doubt there will be weasel-worded excuses similar to the Covid shot: “No one forced you to take the experimental serum (but we made it legal and encouraged employers to fire you if you didn’t).”

Ahh another global policy from our unelected global technocratic psychopaths. Tey are implementing pretty much the same thing in the EU. They even use the same wording "The EU Renovation Wave"

The "Renovation Wave" is an EU Action Plan proposed in 2020 to boost building renovation in the EU. It proposes a (minimum) doubling of the annual energy renovation rate of buildings in the EU by 2030. An "energy renovation rate" is the percentage of total floor area that is renovated each year to meet at least the minimum energy performance requirements.

I’m gunna sound a little controversial here. You won’t come up against many of these problems if you 1. Never sell (like our ancestors STAY).

2. Don’t insure (invest in fire fighting pumps etc)

Alternatively people who can’t afford the rates can live under a bridge!

Our council is already rate rising.

Great article and helps me to prepare better the onslaught.

One strategy I’m gunna deploy is family and friends enjoying cheap rent costs which will help with these costs.

People will have to not have a mortgage- because the banks need to get anything on their books down to Net Zero. The insurance companies also will need to do this- so they will put the screws in to people. The issue with non insurance is, I think, this will used as a trigger point for managed retreat. If a certain percentage of the homes in the area don't have insurance it's too much of a potential cost if a disaster occurs- "we have to pre empt this". Anyway, this is all starting to roll out so will take a few years to see how this all coalesces.

Well you can wait a few years, "wait and see", meanwhile your title has overlay on it and your energy rating is below the golden mean and your property steadily decreases in value year on year and Blackrock will come in and rescue you for a few cents in the dollar. You're basically waiting to go into receivership. I'm looking at selling in the next six months before too many people wise up to this. And leaving this country. It's a basket case.

As soon as it gets in to public consciousness- house prices will decline. Scottish energy initiative states clearly that banks are already not giving loans (or at high interest rates) for lower energy houses. This of course means that when the prices plummet, people will be selling their houses to the corps who have the upfront capital. https://www.scotsman.com/news/environment/epcs-scotland-what-are-they-what-do-they-mean-for-home-owners-and-landlords-and-what-is-the-proposed-legislation-4258230

I still owe 30 k on our off grid joint. Once paid only rates as costs on going. I’m seeing the speed pick up with ruling class and wonder should I sell my tractor and just pay it off. It’s crazy because the emergent communist style gov would make it more practical to stay looking poor than appearing middle class. So weird to be actively planning how best to HIDE from government that won’t leave us alone!

Excellent article again, Kate. Well done on making such a comprehensive account of the threats. I would add one more to the mix: “retirement villages” - get sold the clever marketing of a ‘right to occupy’ a space; sacrificing any current property rights or equity assets and those for the next generation: https://open.substack.com/pub/informedheart/p/overseas-private-equity-firms-and?r=q9aq0&utm_medium=ios

Thanks this is very useful, I was wondering about how far this had come …

You have done a great job…

There are many people who know that the climate cult is a deception but getting them mobilised is another matter.. Senator Renneck and Roberts, Antic etc are the few honest politicians..

You can also track the natural capital and carbon markets that are leading to the same end.. all assets especially land owned by elites..funded and sold by governments..

end times? Tough times
