I just received confirmation that the Digital ID 2023 submission I wrote on behalf of Community Voice Australia was accepted by the Economics Submission, so I can now share it.
There was a clause on the submission page stating that submissions could not be shared publicly until accepted (or not) by the Economics Committee.
It’s long….19 pages long, as I wanted to spell out as many components of life which Corporates and unelected bodies have documented would need a Digital ID.
You can find the submission here, it’s number 24 https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Committees/Senate/Economics/DigitalIDBills2023/Submissions
Appreciation to Peter Fam from Maats Law with his post about the Voluntary- not voluntary clauses in the Bill, which helped with the construction of the submission.
Here are a few snippets.
Absolutely awesome contribution to all of us. I send gratitude from my future generations for your efforts.
